TREASVRE Release Stick the Knife In
Following the release of two standout singles, the band has revealed their brand-new EP in full. Stick the Knife In is informed by electronica, shoegaze and post-rock. It's textured with synthesizers that can be likened to John Carpenter or Carpenter Brut. In fact, there is a very cinematic thread that runs throughout the EP and TREASVRE's approach to songwriting. This is clearly captured in the music video for their single "Run Away." Stick the Knife In was tracked by Jesse Nichols at Atomic Garden West and really captures the Bay Area natives firing on all cylinders. Stick the Knife In is available now on all of your preferred streaming platforms. The EP is also available as a "pay what you like" digital download via Bandcamp.

TREASVRE is a band of five San Francisco Bay Area natives that blends elements of post-rock and shoegaze with rich synth textures, heavy guitar riffs and electronic rhythms. Vocalists Sabrina Simonton and Samantha Peña create wistful harmonies that underscore the themes of nostalgia, melancholy and hopefulness found in their lyrics. The drama and depth conveyed by their music creates a distinctly cinematic quality — one that captures the complex range of human emotion in beautiful and inspiring ways and begs to be experienced live.
